You can order as little as 3kg/6.6lb per order. This can be a variety of 3 different teas (1kg/2.2lb per variety). The shipping cost per kg/lb gets increasingly less as the order quantity increases. But even a 3kg/6.6lb order can be on a par with buying locally as the tea cost is lower for a similar quality tea

Our recommended order size is 20kg/44lb. At this quantity we offer a 10% discount on the tea prices and the shipping rates are lower. China in particular we have a special arrangement with DHL to ship 20kg/44lb+ at a discounted rate.

However, if this it too much for a 1^st order then even 5-10kg/11-22lb orders can be quite economical

Yes, of course, but each region will be a separate order. We cannot combine shipments as they each originate from different countries. Simply create an order and check it out for one region, then head over to the next region and do the same

With most seasonal teas we stock the latest spring harvests – or if the winter harvest or another seasons harvest is as good or better we will supply this during that season. For example, often the Taiwan High Mountain Oolongs yield a very high quality winter harvest, so we will supply this during winter.  For Darjeeling and Assam teas, the season and flush will usually be shown in the tea name.

If you are unsure what to expect we recommend first requesting a sample, or ordering a small quantity only before placing a large order.

If the tea you received is quite different to the sample received of the same tea batch, we will replace it or refund you although some conditions may apply (see Terms and Conditions and Exchange and returns policy)
