Our Organic Yunnan Golden Tips Black Tea ((Dian Hong Jin Hao) is produced in a South Yunnan organic tea garden which is certified by EU and NOP standards.The tea garden is located at an altitude of 1,600m (5,250ft) and is well managed with a sound ecological system. The tea is harvested in mid-April and processed by a skilled team with over forty years experience in producing high quality Yunnan black teas. Most of the tea body is covered by golden hair. The brewed tea gives a floral sweet flavor and the taste is sharp and strong – characteristic of a fine grade Dian Hong tea.
The tea harvesting is done by the skilled local indigenous Han people

The tea garden is planted with Menghai Big Leaf tea cultivar, which is a fine species of Yunnan Big Leaf Tea. It is characterized by its long tender shoots and white hair. This particular tea strain is very resistance to disease and pests. The plant has a high water infusion rate which makes it a very suitable cultivar for processing black tea.
The tea has lots of golden tips, and it gives charming, sweet and fruity flavor and a strong taste. It is a top grade orthodox Yunnan Black Tea!
