This is our Organic tea garden in Wuyi, Fujian where we produce Shui Xian oolong. It is one of the most beautiful tea gardens in China. The tea garden is well managed with a sound ecological system and natural farming practices in perfect harmony with nature. It is certified Organic with EU and NOP standards.
The tea garden in the morning
As you can see there are a lot of spider webs on the tea bushes. Spiders love the instects and are vital in naturally controlling the pests in the Organic tea garden.
This amazing tea garden is so well balanced and operates in harmony with nature.
The tea garden is planted with two cultivars – Shui Xian and Ai Jiao Oolong (Dwarf Oolong), or Qing Xin Oolong as it is know by in Taiwan.
The tea is harvested in May. It is made using the one bud and three leaves from the tender tea shoots.
The outdoor and indoor withering process is underway here.
The finished tea is an oily dark color and has a charming roasted tea flavor with hint of cappuccino.
The brewed tea: It has a lingering creamy and chocolate-like flavor. The taste is rich and mellow with a unique rock character (Yan Yun). it has a rich, deep aftertaste
