Other Notes: Golden Monkey is one of the Chinese traditional black teas. The curly tea body has a shiny flying golden pekoe which makes the tea look somewhat similar to a seated golden monkey – which is where the name originated from. The tea has a toasty, floral sweet flavor and mild mellow taste.
