For those familiar with Taiwanese Green teas, this would be considered the most prestigious green tea of Taiwan. Even though historically Taiwan Bi Luo Chun shares the same processes as the famous Bi Luo Chun from mainland China, this tea has evolved to become a truly distinctive tea that is undoubtedly Taiwanese. Made from very young hand pickings of the Qing Xin Gan Zhi cultivar sourced from the hills south of Taipei City. This premium selection is made by a long-standing tea-making family that have produced tea in San Xia district for several generations.
If you like Wen Shan Bao Zhong or High Mountain fresh Oolong, you’ll be in familiar territory as the sweet and thick buttered green bean notes compare with the flowery and balsam freshness of High Mountain Oolongs. The texture is smooth and silky with very mild astringency. A very refreshing and sophisticated tea!
